Located in the leafy, heritage-rich Richmond Hill precinct close to the Melbourne CBD, the Richmond Project No. 2 is a harmonious balance between modern aesthetics and heritage charm achieved by combining light coloured hand-made bricks with dark metal cladding, render and windows.
The double-storey home of 285m2 features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with large sliding doors opening out to the rear garden for natural light and provide a green outlook. There is also a study, powder room, wine display cabinet and a garage with a second tandem car space on the ground floor.
Walking up the open tread timber staircase with a full height window the upper level features a 3.3m high hallway and pivot doors accessing a second living area, two bedrooms and a spacious master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.
Designed to be highly energy efficient the project features double glazing, automated external venetian blinds and fixed sunshades for sun control along with high-grade insulation resulting in a home requiring minimal climate control.
